Family Emergency Preparedness Training
As a DMRC volunteer, your first priority is preparing yourself and your family for potential emergencies or disasters. With a plan in place you can confidently head out to help others. We have found that it is not uncommon for our own volunteers to overlook the importance of preparedness. “Family Emergency Preparedness” participants learn to prepare self and family for potential emergencies or disasters by helping them to: Identify the type of emergencies/disasters that may be encountered in the area, create a family emergency plan, and create an emergency supply kit.
