“Interactive Psychological Improv” Training

An interactive workshop to help both medical and non-medical volunteers understand and become more comfortable with communicating and managing care of individuals with mental health issues (i.e. anxiety etc.) and/or psychiatric illness in a shelter-like setting during a disastrous event. Attendees will be provided opportunities to role play various scenarios with a University of Delaware Healthcare Theater Actor demonstrating symptoms of underlying psychiatric illness. 

Facilitator Julia Jordan, MSN, RN, FNP, – a Psych-Crisis Nurse at Christiana Care Health Systems with 20 years of experience in the field.
