Interpreter Training Course

This non-language specific 40-hour program is suitable for experienced interpreters looking to refresh their strategy toolbox and have an updated understanding of the interpreter’s role, as well as novice interpreters seeking to jump-start their career!

Curriculum is approved by the International Medical Interpeters Association (IMIA) and stresses the National Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as outlined by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC).

Current courses are on-line and self-guided hybrid courses that include hands-on, activity and practice driven segments that equip and empower participants for the many situations faced in the field of disaster response and recovery.
